On-Campus Counselor Visit Day:
This event provides a unique opportunity for school counselors and advisors to connect with Merrimack staff and faculty in person. We'll cover all the big updates mentioned above, plus tours of our new buildings and so much more! Admission Counselors will also be available to answer any questions you have about this season's application cycle. Tickets will be available for the following day (11/22) to attend Merrimack's last Football game of the season vs. Fordham! Reimbursement for hotel accommodations is available upon request.
As a special offer, attendees of in-person and virtual webinars will receive a voucher for a free Merrimack course in Mental Health First Aid. Participants in this two-credit graduate course will complete the National Mental Health First Aid for Youth certification program and explore applications of MHFA to different mental health crisis situations. The course focuses on recognizing signs and symptoms of an emerging or existing mental health issue, developing resiliency factors in young people and noting risk factors.
